NEVER-ENDING PLASTER RESEARCH

Plaster is a seemingly useless material for design products. The application of plaster is usually found as stucco on walls or as the typical material for molds. Therefore, plaster is never autonomous; it’s a mean and a medium for creating other objects or strengthening them.

In the Never-ending Plaster Research plaster is the protagonist. It is the beginning, the middle and the end. The research pushes the boundaries of the material. However, plaster comes with its own set of rules and regulations. Therefore the research becomes a continuous dialogue between the material and the researcher, who both have equal influence on the outcome.

The Never-ending plaster Research does not define itself by aiming for a solution or conclusion. Via an ongoing collection of tests and experiments the endless possibilities of the material are exposed.
